Tunisian giants Esperance have been ordered by FIFA to pay Kotoko $180,000 in relation to Kwame Bonsu’s transfer from Kotoko.
Esperance have refused to oblige by their side of the bargain which demanded they pay the Reds the said amount for the midfielder who joined them four Months ago.
Kotoko are yet to receive a penny from the deal with the Tunisian Champions remaining reluctant to release the money due to a transfer saga between former player Emmanuel Clottey and the Club.
The situation however forced the Porcupine Warriors to report Esperance to FIFA with the World Football governing body ordering the North African side to pay the amount in full or face sanctioning.
Bonsu has already been linked to a mega transfer move to China with Kotoko also set to benefit should the deal materialize.
The 23-year-old has become a key player for Esperance since joining the Club from Kotoko.
