Jadon Sancho has reportedly agreed terms on a five year deal worth £340,000-a-week with Manchester United.
The Borussia Dortmund star is on the verge of joining United with the two clubs in advanced talks over a deal that could reach an eventual £108million.
According to BILD,Sancho has now put pen to paper on personal terms with United and all that needs to be determined before the deal goes through is the structure of the transfer.
Dortmund are refusing to budge from their £108m valuation of winger Sancho, which would see them make a staggering profit having signed him for just £8m from Manchester City in 2017.
The German side were hoping for at least half of that up front, with talks also focused on how the rest of the deal is structured, in terms of guaranteed money, add ons and instalment size and dates, beyond the initial fee.
Some reports have claimed that United would pay £63m up front and then £27m and £18m over the new two summers but negotiations are still ongoing.
Dortmund head off to Switzerland for their pre-season training camp next Monday – August 10 – and would prefer the deal to be concluded before then.
They are however, prepared to keep Sancho if United cannot meet their demands.
Dortmund have ‘secretly’ increased Sancho’s pay over the last 12 months, according to BILD, meaning the player is already earning around £5.5m a season.
In the event of Sancho remaining in Germany, it would see the England international’s pay increase to £10m a season.
